Star Wars: Battlefront sold unsatisfactorily? EA denies

Authorities Electronic Arts are surprised by the recent statement by Director of Network Operations GameStop, in which he states that Star Wars: Battlefront sold out worse than expected. Previously, Bartel had said of Battlefront, “We’re not going to quantify it in terms of actual numbers, but we had high expectations that diminished somewhat as it got closer and it failed to hit those lowered expectations.”

Peter Moore, EA's Chief Operating Officer, said that they feel very comfortable that they will hit 13 million sales by the end of the fiscal year, and believes that the launch of the newest Star Wars movie in December will help with sales. To reassure everyone, Moore also stated that "there is no weakness that is perceptible" in the game, and he trusts the guidance that analysts and Wall Street have given him.

Battlefront accurate sales performance during the premiere so far not given.
